Open Roads ABATE at Sheridan Elevator
Open Roads ABATE chapter members participated in the Sheridan Elevator July 4 festivities with a booth promoting ABATE safety and education mission. Open Roads members set up a booth and displayed ABATE items and giving people the opportunity to win a 2025 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic, a 4 wheeler, sportbike, cash prizes, and an ABATE membership. This event is part of a fund raiser for the Safety and Ed Program with many people supporting it. There will be a Celebration of Life for Fred Chaffer on Saturday Aug 1, 2026 at the Cornerstone Church 17347 Pratt Rd. Sandwich, IL. Friends and guests are welcome from 2-4 pm. Please wear
Motorcycle attire. Kevin Smith will be leading a parade around the church parking lot following the service.
