The mission of the Toy Adaptation Program (TAP) at The Ohio State University is to provide hands-on educational opportunities to engineering students, while making a positive societal impact through the modification of electronic toys. The toys are then donated to toy lending libraries or directly to families. By developing this connection between academia and the community, TAP strives to address social issues through experiential learning.

While our spring TAP events have been postponed, we have created a page on our website dedicated to adapting toys at home! Today, TAP held a workshop where AEP employees teamed up with OSU engineering students. We adapted many toys and had a lot of fun! Thank you to AEP for being a long-time partner, and thank you to everyone who attended the event!

TAP had some great K-12 outreach last week! Thank you so much to the students from the Columbus Metropolitan Library - Hilliard Branch and Tri-Valley FCS & FCCLA for learning about our program and helping us adapt toys!
