Recently we had the most surreal experience at Alviso Marina County Park, San Jose (California) 🔸A very unique phenomenon is the salt deposits on the shoreline from the old mining industry on the water’s edge. Visitors can walk out on the salt flats and peer into the pools of dark reddish-brown water discolored by the salt.

Nature has a way of surprising us, and this was a reminder of its beauty and unpredictability.
