A kitchen is never defined by a single detail - it’s shaped by how those details work together to create balance, warmth, and flow.
In this space, white oak cabinetry establishes a warm, natural foundation, while satin brass accents bring a sense of refinement and continuity throughout. From the island hardware and faucet to the lighting above, these details create subtle moments of contrast and draw the eye through the space.
Layered natural tones, open shelving, and thoughtfully styled ceramics add depth and personality without overwhelming the palette. Nothing here is accidental. Every material, finish, and object has been selected to support both function and feeling, creating a kitchen that feels as effortless to live in as it does beautiful to look at.
At Studio SQUIRE, we believe the most successful spaces aren’t built around a single statement feature. They’re shaped by a collection of thoughtful decisions that work together to support everyday life.

Our goal is to create a space that feels modern, welcoming, and highly functional for the firefighters and community it serves every day. Warm wood tones, layered lighting, and acoustic materials come together to create an environment that feels both durable and uplifting.

Welcome to Studio SQUIRE HQ, where Bay Area homes and boutique commercial spaces come to life. Part design studio, part creative laboratory, and just a little bit rock and roll, this is where we spend our days surrounded by floor plans, fabric samples, material boards, and a whole lot of coffee. We keep our projects organized so we can grab what we need at a moment’s notice, keep the tunes fresh, and give every project everything we’ve got. We work hard, care deeply, and feel incredibly lucky to have created a space that reflects who we are, supports the work we love, and feels a little bit like home.

There’s nothing we love more than the process of bringing a vision to life. From walking the stone yard and selecting the perfect slabs of Calacatta Viola, to seeing them installed in the kitchen and fireplace, watching every layer of a project come together never gets old.
We’re officially at the finish line of our San Francisco whole home renovation. Furniture installation starts tomorrow, window treatments are up next, and this home is quickly becoming one of our favorite transformations to date. Our Secret Garden project is a true showstopper, and we cannot wait to share the finished result with you all.
There’s something really special about being in a room full of people who care deeply about beautiful design, creativity, and making spaces feel meaningful. We had such a wonderful time at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase and left feeling very inspired (and mentally redesigning at least three rooms on the drive home). Thank you to Pietra Fina for hosting such a lovely event, and congratulations to all of the incredibly talented designers and teams who made this year’s showcase house such a success. We feel lucky to be part of the Bay Area design community.
