d Project (2024-present): Established three mini libraries for children at Halo Ministry Shelter (homeless), the Life Crisis Center (victims of domestic abuse) and the Believe In Tomorrow Children's House by the Sea (a respite home for critically ill children and their families). Warm Hands Warm Hearts Winter Wear Drive (2013-pressent): Annual donation drive of winter wear items for those in need. This year, over 4300 items were donated. History:
Be The Sunshine (originally Kind Kids ) was a regional, motivational and inspirational program with the goal of teaching others to spread positive energy and kindness 2012-2024. The original Kind Kids program was created and founded in 2012 by 10 year old Stephanie Brilliant. Over the past 12 years, Kind Kids has been seen across the Delmarva region organizing community events and creating a general sense of good will. Projects have included the Kind Kids Princess Tea Party to benefit the Believe In Tomorrow Children's House By The Sea (for critically ill children), the Kind Kids Halloween Spooktacular to benefit the Believe In Tomorrow Children's House By The Sea, The Warm Hands, Warm Hearts Winter Clothing Drive to benefit Halo Outreach and the Delmar Elite Adopt A Family Program, pet supply drives for the Humane Society of Wicomico County and sock drives. Stephanie has also inspired many young people through her Kindness in the Classroom reading program. In early 2025, Shine A Light was formed to help spread positivity and encouragement to those with chronic illness, like MS.
