New guitar day 🤠🎸
There’s just somethin’ about fresh strings and a blank slate… like it’s already got stories in it.
Can’t wait to write some porch songs, river songs, and maybe one my boys will sing someday.
What should I play first?

Last night, Maeghan and I got to sit back and just enjoy being together… live music at Jason Aldean’s Rooftop in Gatlinburg.
No guitar in my hands. No mic in front of me. Just listening, watching, and remembering why I fell in love with live country music in the first place.
There’s something about a rooftop, cold air rolling through the mountains, neon lights below, and a good country song filling the night. It lights that fire all over again.
Grateful for nights like that, and even more grateful for the woman beside me through all of it.

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day + Country Music + BBQ… yes please. 🍀
I’ll be playing live with Southern Shine Saturday, March 14 from 5–8PM at Big Daddy’s BBQ & Sweet Shack in Salem.
If you’ve never been, the bbq alone is worth the trip… we’re just the bonus.
We’ll be playing all the front porch country, acoustic favorites, and a few songs that hit a little deeper. Good food, cold drinks, and the kind of music that makes you forget what day it is.
Come hang out, say hey, and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the right way.

Bring your friends. Bring your appetite. Bring your green. 🍀

Some songs you write… and some songs write you.
My boys never got to meet the man who taught me everything about fishing, the outdoors, and being tough when life isn’t easy.
This one’s for him.
“Grandpa They Never Had.”
***ytonk
Some songs just feel like rollin’ the windows down on a Friday night.
“Wide Open Weekend” is for the backroads, the bonfires, the cold drinks in the cooler, and the six-string sing-alongs with your people.
It’s not fancy.
It’s not polished.
It’s just real life turned up a little louder.
If you’ve ever kicked up dust on a two-lane road with nowhere to be but right there… this one’s for you.
🎸 Dropping soon (doubtful)
Stay tuned.

March 6th I’ll be strappin’ on the guitar and singing with Southern Shine at Pok-E-Joe’s BBQ in Vinton 🎸🔥
If you like your country the way it’s meant to be — acoustic, front-porch style, a little h***y tonk and a lot of heart — this one’s for you.
Good BBQ. Cold drinks. Real country music.
Come hang out, sing loud, and let’s make it a Friday night that feels like summer already.
Show starts at 8.
Bring your people.
If you didn’t grow up with Little Debbie’s and a warm Dr Pepper in the boat… did you even fish?
This one’s for the snack kings of Philpott. 🎣
Hey everyone — I decided to create this page so friends, family, and anyone who enjoys good, honest country music can follow along a little closer.
Music has always been a big part of who I am. Whether I’m playing with Southern Shine, writing new songs, or just strumming on the porch after a long day, it’s where I get to tell stories and connect with people.
This page will be where I share upcoming shows, original music, behind-the-scenes moments, and maybe a few lake-day songs along the way.
If you’ve ever supported me, come out to a show, shared a post, or just listened — I appreciate you more than you know.
Glad you’re here. Let’s make some music. 🎸
