Revenge Travel
Definition: Leisure travel that follows a period of being unable to travel.

This is no joke! I have seen very limited availability for airfare and accommodation. This is especially true when planning only a month or two ahead. I know it’s Spring here but it’s time to start booking your Winter travel so you get the best choices. Don’t forget, many villas are still at low season rates until mid-December.

I know I have been talking about other types of travel, but villas are my first love. There is nothing like having your own private pool and space to relax. I have spent many years and hours doing site inspections. Going to an island and having to see so many amazing houses sounds tough right?

We know who to work with at your destination so you have the best experience. Also, our villas and apartments don’t require you completely clean up before you leave (ahem, we are not Airbnb).

A little Cruise Talk
(yes, my I still love villas but sometimes I want a different experience)

Virgin Cruises have fun, adults-only cruises with all restaurants included, reasonably priced drinks (many non-alcoholic drinks are already included), tips included, and cool cabins and ships. They have also received the 2023 Cruise Critic Cruisers Choice award for Best Overall Cruise Line (Best Dining, Best Cabins, Best Service, Best Value-For-Money).

I enjoy the occasional cruise, but I hate leaving a destination before sunset. Virgin Cruises actually stays overnight in some destinations (Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Mykonos) and stay in port later than other ships in the Caribbean.

Virgin Voyages also offers more interesting port excursions that are a little more off the beaten path for a cruise ship.
Lastly, I am always worried about the environmental impact of large cruise ships. No travel has zero impact but Virgin Voyages has eliminated unnecessary single-use plastics, serve sustainable seafood and direct trade coffee, cut out buffet waste, have smart tech to use less energy as well as ships that transform heat from the ship's engines into clean energy, and purify wastewater.
