oint again, especially since I learned how to do specialty stitches. The majority of my needlework has always been counted cross stitch. Since I was raised in a small town in Northwest Montana during the 70's, I only had access to kits. Thinking I didn't have a creative bone in my body, I made sure I followed the pattern EXACTLY as charted. Then I moved to the big city of Portland, and I decided to get a bit "rebellious" by changing the floss or cloth, then both. Somewhere along the way, I found myself altering the pattern altogether. Now I've come full circle by painting needlepoint canvases. I want to share my designs with fellow stitchers. Please take a look at what I’ve designed so far. Feel free to send me any comments you have regarding the designs and/or any designs you would like to see. I'm very open to constructive criticism and would love to hear from you!
