Every single dog was adopted from this shelter except one 💔

Lady Whistledown has been waiting for a home for 499 days! Please share so she can find a home! 💞🙏 Lady Whistledown is at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter, Wantagh, New York (Long Island). Shelter Bio: To be honest, we are speechless when it comes to this girl. Lady Whistledown came to us as a stray in April 2022, after following a Good Samaritan down the street. She came in weighing 28 little pounds and is covered in scars on her face and back. Something bad happened to her in her previous life, and although we don't know what, we know it had lasting effects on her. Sadly, Lady Whistledown circles in her kennel quite a bit. We don't know if she was beaten, hit by a car, in dog fights, or what, but she clearly has suffered some sort of trauma. What we do know for sure is, she is safe with us until her forever family finds her. She deserves to know what it's like to be loved and safe. Seeing Lady Whistledown in her kennel is just heartbreaking, and it must be so stressful on her too. If you're a solo dog home, looking for a sweet, loving, calm, friendly and oh so deserving girl, please, please consider this sweetie.
