Yes, I know we have been quiet lately. Since we are not expecting babies this season, I have been trying to find things to occupy my time, with some success! Here is a sneak peak of some new products for our table!

This is a bucket of rats that will feed most of our ball pythons today. It will take me hours to thaw the rodents safely, and then several more hours to heat them and distribute them for our snakes.
We only feed frozen/thawed when possible, and though this is time consuming and, let's be honest-a pain in the ass- I truly believe that the risk of feeding live is not worth it.
(No shade on those who feed live. Your reasons are just as valid as mine.)
