🌧️🐾 It’s absolutely RAINING PUPPIES at Ghosts Mission Rescue! 🐾🌧️

The last few days have been a complete whirlwind!

In just a matter of days, we have welcomed 10 new intakes into our rescue. Every single one of them is a puppy, and every single one of them needs veterinary care.

Right now, 3 shepherd puppies are hospitalized receiving treatment, while we took in 4 puppies yesterday and 3 more puppies TODAY. The sweet Cane Corso puppies we welcomed from Bell County Animal Shelter today completely stole our hearts, and they deserve every chance at a bright future. We also have Heeler and Heeler Aussie mix babies!

But we cannot do this alone.

🚨 We urgently need:
🐾 Foster homes by Monday or Tuesday for 3 Shepherd puppies
🐾 Adoption applications
🐾 Donations for veterinary care, food, supplies, and medications
🐾 Shares to help us reach more potential fosters and adopters

Puppies require constant care, vaccinations, deworming, preventatives, food, and medical attention. The expenses add up quickly, especially with so many little lives depending on us at once.

🚨 URGENT PARVO PUPPY PLEA 🚨

Okay y’all, this is a desperate plea for some puppies who desperately need our village right now.

A couple of weeks ago, we were on our way to the Temple shelter to meet some German Shepherd puppies that had been found wandering. When we arrived, we were waiting on a friend to meet us when another vehicle pulled up. About 15 minutes later, we watched the puppies we had come to meet get reclaimed by their owner.

I stepped out and spoke with her. While we were relieved they were reunited, she shared a heartbreaking situation she was personally facing. Out of respect for her privacy, I will not be discussing those details publicly. Her personal circumstances are not the focus of this post.

What matters is that she wanted what was best for these puppies.

We agreed that when the time came, she would surrender them to Ghosts Mission Rescue so we could help.

Today was that day.

While I was on my way to pick up four other puppies, I received a message that she was finally able to surrender the German Shepherd puppies. However, there was devastating news. Two of the puppies had stopped eating and drinking. She immediately agreed to take them to the veterinarian.

The diagnosis was every rescuer’s nightmare: PARVO.

The family is surrendering three female puppies to our rescue, and all three need treatment. They are currently hospitalized fighting for their lives.

The estimate shown is for ONE puppy.

💔 We need to multiply that by THREE.

These sweet girls did not ask for any of this. They deserve a chance to grow up, to know love, and to have families of their own someday.

The family cannot afford this treatment, so we are stepping in. But we cannot do it alone.

We need our village.

Every single dollar helps. Whether it’s $5, $10, $20, or more, it all adds up and gives these puppies a fighting chance.

Well, the 4 puppies are with our rescue currently; however, during our hour trip out to get them my car decided it no longer wants to work. So, here we are on the side of the road. My husband is working on getting us up and running. I use this car regularly to do rescue things so it is much needed. Pray it’s a simple fix please!
