Get Detoxinated 05/10/2026

Welcome — I’m Daniel Root, co-developer of Detoxination®, author of Sauna Detoxification Using Niacin, and an environmental wellness educator exploring sauna science, toxicant awareness, recovery support strategies, and collaborative approaches to modern health challenges.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside practitioners, researchers, wellness professionals, and organizations including the AngioInstitute and DETOXSCAN.org to help expand conversations surrounding environmental contributors to chronic health issues and recovery support strategies.

This page and community were created to share educational content surrounding topics such as:
• Sauna science and sweating physiology
• Environmental toxicants and toxic burden
• Mold and mycotoxins
• Gadolinium-related concerns
• Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS)
• Recovery and resilience strategies
• Practitioner education and collaboration
• Environmental wellness discussions

If you’re new here, the short video attached to this post provides a brief introduction to my background and the broader mission behind this work.

You’re also invited to join our public Facebook community:
“Environmental Wellness & Recovery Strategies”

I look forward to learning and exploring these conversations together.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that many of today’s most important conversations in health and recovery are being shaped not just in clinics—but by those who have lived through the experience themselves.
