Washing and burying the deceased is a fard kifayah (collective obligation) upon the community. It is important that within every community we have knowledgeable brothers and sisters who can wash and bury our deceased. If you are interested in gaining the great reward for this deed, join us on *Saturday November 1st 11 AM - 1 PM* Janazah Workshop to learn about death, funeral preparations, washing the body, shrouding and burial.
*The program will take place at DMCC*

Dear Community,

Tomorrow is the Day of Arafah, In shā’ Allāh — a day the Prophet ﷺ called the best day for Allah to forgive His servants.

✅ Fast the Day of Arafah – it wipes sins of the past and coming year (Tirmidhi).
✅ Make lots of duʿā, especially:
"La ilah ill` Allah, wahdahu la sharika lahu Lahul mulk walahul hamd, wahua `ala kulli shayin qadeer"
✅ Pray Qiyām, make Istighfār, stay in remembrance, and recite Qur’an.
✅ End your day with heartfelt duʿā before Maghrib.
