Broken Devotion

Moment of transparency:

I have people tell me all of the time that they admire my faith and optimism..and come to me for prayer as if I have some sort of super power praying abilities.

Let me be clear here, I have been in the middle of a battle for my life for years now.

Everyday I wake up and step back out into that war with only One Name upon my lips that can do anything about the bloodiness that I find around me, and that Name is Jesus Christ.

I have an enemy who seeks to destroy me...day and night he tells me that I can't do this thing, that I am worthless, and to give up...but that ONE NAME keeps me from throwing in that towel.

When I have lost my hope, HE is my hope. When I don't feel good enough, HE is good enough. When I don't love enough, HE loves enough.

When I pray, there is no power from within myself that isn't available to you. All of the power comes from that ONE NAME- Jesus Christ.

Being a Christian is the most exciting adventure, but it is not an easy one...but to quote Lecrae, "My worst day as a believer is better than my best day before I met Christ."
