Happy National High Five Day! โ
We build better organizations. We champion people. And today, we high five everyone.
From all of us at AROO Consulting. arooconsulting.com
Two fields. One acronym. Strikingly similar conclusions.
Our founder, Nately DeSisto, PMP, CPC, CSM, RYT, breaks down the structural connection between Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Natural Language Processing, and why it matters for how we work with people and technology. Definitely worth the read. Clink the link below for the full post ๐

You've seen the Fibonacci sequence before. In a sprint ceremony. In a sunflower. Maybe on a billboard.
Most people know one piece of it. This post connects all of them.
Nature figured it out first. Photographers borrowed it. Acoustic physics runs on it. And every time your team runs planning poker, you're using it too.
New on the AROO blog: the pattern you think you know.

Every morning, we all sit on the floor. Remotely. Cameras pointing at the ground. We take three deep breaths, close our eyes, and hum in unison.
Not a song. Not an assigned tone. Just sound. Raw, collective, leaderless sound that builds until something shifts across different cities and one van.
Within about 11 seconds, somehow, we are all humming the same note.
We have not discussed this, and we have no intention of doing so.
Nobody has been late to a meeting since we started. Nobody has asked what the agenda is. Nobody has said "๐ค๐ข๐ฏ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ฆ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ต๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฆ๐ญ๐ท๐ฆ๐ด" in nearly three weeks.
The floor does not ask for your status update. The floor does not need to loop back. The floor has never once requested that anyone level set before it will offer them support.
Something is moving through this team that no ticket could ever contain.
We're taking a stand by sitting down.

Most teams don't treat Agile as a tool. They treat it as a doctrine.
The ceremonies become mandatory. The roles become jurisdictional. The question shifts from "is this working?" to "are we following the playbook?"
We've watched this play out with Waterfall, Agile, and now AI. Same pattern, different framework.
The new post on the AROO blog walks through three real examples. And what the Agile Manifesto actually says. (Spoiler: the word "rigid" doesn't appear once.)

Two rules. That's all your nervous system is running on.
1. Survive at all costs.
2. Conserve energy wherever possible.
Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, one of the world's leading researchers in neuroacoustic science, frames the body exactly this way. And once you understand it, sound therapy starts to make a lot more sense.
To conserve energy, your nervous system syncs to dominant, stable frequencies in your environment. It does this automatically. Give it a consistent, calibrated frequency (say, a singing bowl or tuning fork), and your brainwaves start to follow. The vagus nerve activates. The body shifts toward rest.
Not because of belief. Because of biology.
Skeptics welcome. Your nervous system doesn't need your permission.
