Position is for a busy, growing medical clinic in North Austin. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills & professionalism.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Greet patients upon entering the clinic & show them to the exam room
· Introduce yourself & explain the appointment process to the patient
· Review the health interview with the patient
· Provide & explain educational materials as indicated to patient
· Obtain vital signs, EKG as needed, urine as needed - submit to lab
· Keep exam rooms/equipment clean, stocked & organized
· Perform health interviews over the phone prior to or during appointment as needed
· Verify lab orders & retrieve lab results
· Request/follow up on records requests
· Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records
· Communicate effectively & efficiently with patients, team & others
· Other office duties as needed by provider, office manager, or team
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Certified Medical Assistant, graduate of a medical assistant program, or equivalent military healthcare experience preferred
Experience:
· Previous experience within the last 3 years in the clinic setting providing direct patient care preferred

· Regular and dependable attendance
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Preferred)
CPR Certification (Preferred)
Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Work Schedule:
Monday – Thursday (Hours TBD)
Pay:
Dependent on experience
COVID-19 Precautions:
· Personal protective equipment provided/required
· Temperature screenings
· Social distancing guidelines in place
· Sanitizing, disinfecting & cleaning procedures in place
· All patients are asked to wear a mask while in the building/clinic
· Patient COVID screenings/protocols
