Meals on Heels

Dinner at the lake! Skirt steak, corn on the cob, and farm-fresh okra all on the grill.

Rhubarb basil and blackberry rosemary shrubs (to be served in prosecco) for dinner party dessert tonight, along with Waaaaay Too Much Chocolate cake and Atlanta's High Road ice cream-- burnt sugar bourbon Ice cream, of course!!!!

Homemade one bites ( or maybe two..). Holiday treats at a FUN client party Friday night. Merry merry!

Too Much Chocolate birthday cake for dinner party last night! Truly "devil's food" but worth it!!

Learned something new yesterday: after flying over beautiful mountains and dramatic drop offs like this, our helicopter pilot took us over farm areas where poi was growing. He informed us poi is short for "poison". Maybe I did know that....

Before and after-but-not-yet-finished: Marty's home-grown homemade light-you-up-real-good fermented hot sauce. It's great! And,yes, he made the airlock.

Wonderful weekend retreat at Many Streams Ranch. Great place to cook! Vegetarian lunch dishes include Black Bean and Corn Salad and Mushroom Celery Salad. Throw in some G-F peanut butter cookies for a treat!!

Farm-fresh baby beets with backyard thyme. After they roast they'll be joined by farm-fresh spring greens, local blue cheese, with figs and citrus vinegar. Fresh: it's what's for dinner (at least tonight....)
