* WHAT... Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE... Portions of central and east central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Maries. In east central Missouri, Phelps.

* WHEN... Until 845 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 241 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rolla, St. James, Belle, Vichy and Northwye.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT... Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE... Portions of central, east central, and south central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Maries, Miller, Morgan and Pulaski. In east central Missouri, Phelps. In south central Missouri, Dent, Howell, Oregon, Shannon and Texas.

* WHEN... Through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS... Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour are expected today through Monday which may lead to flash flooding in urban and low-lying areas. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches expected with locally higher amounts up to 5 to 7 inches possible.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southern Maries County in central Missouri...
Southeastern Miller County in central Missouri...
Northern Pulaski County in central Missouri...
Phelps County in east central Missouri...

* Until 115 PM CDT.

* At 1212 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Crocker, or 11 miles northwest of Waynesville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE... Radar indicated.

IMPACT... Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Rolla, St. Robert, St. James, Dixon, Crocker, Doolittle, Newburg, Northwye, Swedeborg, Jerome, Vichy, and Rosati.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 165 and 169, and between mile markers 171 and 200.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
