At about 2:30PM Metro experienced a systemwide failure of remote terminals, which allows trains to be visible to controllers and remotely control switches.

This would be why apps like MetroPluse and MetroHero are updating as usual and displays on platforms aren’t showing information.

It does NOT affect train spacing. The automatic train protection feature is fully functional.
