has played in several local Rochester bands, and is well known for his master level guitar licks. When he is not taking care of lead guitar work for Barrel Aged you can hear him playing great classic rock with the American Moondogs. John Ebert – Bass, Vocals
John studied classical and jazz trombone at SUNY Fredonia while completing the Tonmeister program there in music production. Past playing experiences include the Color Blind James Experience, HuNu?, Peachy Nietzsche, The Hayseeds and Nightflys where he has played trombone, bass, tuba and concertina. His musical inspirations include Frank Zappa, Spike Jones and Charles Mingus. As occupation, John works for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as front of house sound engineer for the Pops series. Philip Neely – Drums, Vocals
Philip is the newest member of Barrel Aged. His unique style of playing has been a driving force in taking the music to new and interesting directions. Philip, like John and Keith, has been ingrained in the Rochester music scene for many years. He has sat in and/or played with multiple bands and is sought after for his great rhythm and tasteful style. Kevin Smith – Guitar, Vocals
Kevin is the sole non-Rochesterian, a native of Maryland/Washington, D.C., then 15 year stay in Kentucky, he has gathered a very wide range of musical tastes and appreciation. Influenced most by the singer/songwriting legends from the Southwest, you will also find pieces of 80’s New Wave, Rock and Blues showing up in the songs. Like the others he has played in multiple local bands along the way and aside from the Barrel Aged band he shares duties on guitar with Keith in the American Moondogs.
