Start the New Year off right with the Star City Striders New Years Day Run up to the Star, January 1, 2022. Meet at the top near the Star by 9 am for a group photo.

It is a great way to begin the new year! See some friends, enjoy the views and have a great morning run or walk! Begin wherever you want in Roanoke and just be at the Star by 9am or a little before.

The annual Star City Striders Run Up To The Star on New Years Day 2021 will not be scheduled due to Covid and large groups not being allowed to gather.

You are welcome to enjoy a Run Up To The Star on your own this New Years Day, on your schedule, but no group gathering or group photo by the Star City Striders.

We will do it next year on January 1, 2022, see you then!

All are invited to join the Star City Striders at the Mill Mountain Star at 9 o'clock am on Tuesday, January 1 for a picture. This is the 30th annual Star City Striders Mill Mountain Fun Run!
