It's lit! Here's a 2021 Q4 product update from SCC, just in time for Anniversary day.

Back by popular demand....

The HO scale Gillig Phantom is going back into production. It will be in-house, made of 35% recycled materials, and 100% made in the USA. The 30' and 35' models were introduced in 2010; shown are the first build of each! In addition, a 40' 102" version will be released. (Handmade prototype shown.)

Over the years, the journey of Star City Customs has allowed me to meet some amazing people in the bus enthusiast community. One of them was Charlie Neal, a Baltimore native who was a valued employee of their MTA for many years, a living wealth of information, and a dedicated bus preservationist. Sadly, we all lost Charlie in 2017. Thank you to my friend and loyal customer Luis Baez, who recently helped to keep his memory alive with the purchase of a commemorative model of his former bus 1909; the real bus is preserved in Hershey, PA. Part of this purchase has been donated to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Neal's honor to help with their continual research. I must also thank my friend and colleague Nick Persaud at Model Buses United for the Corgi GM Old Look bus model that made this project possible.
