We provide therapeutic sessions from rehabilitation to relaxation. My approach is aimed at identifying, assessing, and treating issues before they become a major problem. As a triathlete, ultra runner, and weight lifter I understand things from an athletes perspective and know how to fix acute/chronic issues. - Chris

If the front of your hips are tight and you feel stuck in an arched, tilted posture, there’s a reason for it.When the hip flexors, re**us femoris, and the front capsule stiffen, they pull the thigh forward and make it hard for your spine and pelvis to stack the way they should. That’s why you feel “pulled” into that position even when you try to stand tall.To reverse it, you need three things working together:1. Loosen the front of the hipThis opens the tissues that tilt the pelvis forward and restrict hip extension.By restoring length in the iliopsoas and the capsule, you reduce the forward pull on the thigh, which immediately helps your spine come back into a more neutral position.2. Lengthen the re**us femorisThis muscle crosses both the hip and the knee. When it’s tight, it locks your thigh forward and prevents your pelvis from coming out of that “butt-out” posture.Getting this muscle to release frees up your entire front chain so the hip can move behind you again.3. Strengthen the glutesOnce the front stops pulling you forward, the back has to do its job again.Glute activation restores the backward pull that balances the hip. This adds stability, improves alignment, and helps you stay upright without forcing it.4. Train hip rotation controlRotation work teaches the hip joint to center itself in the socket. This reduces the “twist” that often comes with tight hip flexors and helps your pelvis stay level when you walk. When these four pieces work together, you’re not just stretching tight muscles — you’re restoring the front-to-back balance of the hip and retraining the joint to sit and move the way it was designed to.Your posture improves, your stride feels smoother, and you stop fighting that constant forward pull. #Hips #hipflexors#posture 17/02/2026
