Too often, Riverside City Council has been shaped by those who govern from a "we know what's best for you" posture rather than listening, learning, and working toward the empowerment of every resident, business, and community-based organization in the city.
Aram Ayra and Luis Hernandez represent something different — leaders who understand that co-governance isn't a talking point, it's the whole point.
SOS is proud to endorse (Ward 2) and (Ward 6) in the Riverside City Council contests on the June 2, 2026 ballot.
Riverside is ready for a new generation of leadership — one that sees community members, including those rebuilding their lives after incarceration, as equal participants in governance.
Ward 2 and Ward 6 voters: your ballot is already in your hands. Can't find it? Not registered? Same-day voter registration is available at vote centers through June 2.
🗳️ June 2, 2026 — Last day to vote. Make it count.

The rest have taken their marching orders — as demonstrated by the July 29th oversight motion dying and the coroner-sheriff separation decision. Fifteen people have died in Riverside County custody since July 29th. Not one of those four supervisors stepped up.
