Still not over this rebrand!

Getting to see Vital Light Films fully come to life visually has been such a surreal feeling. Every detail of this new brand identity feels more aligned with the kinds of stories I’ve always wanted to tell—cinematic, soulful, intentional, and full of movement.

Huge shoutout to for absolutely crushing this. From the branding to the website design, they somehow took everything that was floating around in my head and turned it into something that actually feels like Vital Light Films.

The new site was built to feel immersive—like stepping into the atmosphere of the films themselves. Moody textures, motion, rhythm, emotion… all of it rooted in story.

Excited for what’s ahead and really grateful for everyone following along as this next chapter unfolds.

Been a little quiet on here lately… unless you’ve caught the occasional wedding day chaos on my stories. 👀

Truth is, I’ve been building something behind the scenes.

After a lot of late nights, voice notes, revisions, and probably too much coffee, I’m seriously stoked to finally share the new home of Vital Light Films. New brand. New website. Same heart behind it all.

I wanted this next chapter to feel more like the films themselves—cinematic, intentional, emotional, and rooted in real connection. Less about trends. More about story, rhythm, presence, and the moments that actually stay with you.

This brand has always been about creating wedding films that feel something years later. Films that move like memory. Built with intention, edited with feeling.

Grateful for every couple who’s trusted me with their story so far. This new season feels really exciting.

Hey Hey! What’s up friends?

I’ve been pretty MIA on social the past couple years, so I wanted to just give an update and try to reconnect with all of you on the interwebs.

Life is pretty hectic these days since the birth of our twins last year. But we’re finding our step and miraculously finding time for sleep, mostly thanks to my wife being an incredible mom.

I started this company in 2014 (rebranded in 2018). So this year I’m celebrating 10 years of making wedding films, pretty wild!

This year I’m dedicated to improving my filmmaking and my brand. One way is through a mastermind with my friends John, Nick and the team over at It’s been an invaluable community, and really challenges me to dig deep into why I love shooting weddings. Thanks for the referral.

I’ve struggled with my relationship with social media because I’ve felt it’s so commercialized. Every time I would get on to post I found myself scrolling through reels wasting time I could have been doing something productive like spending time with my family, editing, or collaborating with people in the real world, so I just stopped getting on and almost never posted anything.

When I would post it was just to get people to see my work and it always felt like I was talking through the business’ voice. So I found my posts to feel in-genuine just trying to appease the algorithm.

So this time around I’m going to post through my own voice and make some real connections on here.

I’ve been shooting A LOT, and have a ton of stuff to share. So I’m going to do my best to post every week. So DM if you want to connect fer real! 🤙🏼
