Danielle Stevenson, Fundraising Chair

Danielle Stevenson is a second year PhD student in Environmental Toxicology and part of Dr. Samantha Ying's Soil Biogeochemistry group. She studies how fungi can stop heavy metals from going into crops and deal with soil pollution. She is a Food and Agriculture Foundation and Global Food Initiative fellow, and the founder and operator of D.I.Y. Fungi- a mycology business- and Healing City Soils, a collaborative program supporting farmers in addressing soil heavy metals. She is from Canada and loves spending time in nature.

Melissa Henderson, Secretary
I am a senior at UCR majoring in chemistry with a concentration in pure chemistry. I’m very interested in structural elucidation methods, specifically proton NMR and 2D NMR. I also love gardening, going to concerts, and writing!
