George's Drive-In

It was great to catch up with Richard, owner of The Sub Station. Between the two of us, there’s over 100 years of local business experience standing in this photo — Richard started in 1972, and George’s Drive-In has been serving our community since 1974.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to be there for Richard’s final day on June 20, but I was honored to spend some time with him and hear some of his stories. Building and maintaining a successful business for over 50 years is no small accomplishment.

Wishing Richard all the best in retirement and whatever adventures come next. Thank you for your years of dedication to the community—you’ve certainly earned it!

Good morning, family and friends—

We’ll be closed next Monday (5/18) and maybe Tuesday (5/19) for some maintenance work.

We’ll be back open on Wednesday (5/20) if not sooner.
