Arte Mixtlan

Juan Varela was born in the Mexican state of Puebla. In Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca is where he discovers the magic world of the prehispanic art. This way, he creates a very well-defined style of contemporary art: Mix Media & Embroidery Art. This concept has made him very famous as the Mixtlan Art. He has showm his works in Puebla, Mexico City, Veracruz, Tlaxcala and in the US.
