In May, we celebrated , but that didn’t mean our job stood still to celebrate — even though we did get to enjoy some time to share our gratitude for our dedicated and compassionate crews!
The Bain Fire was a reminder of just that. We delivered Chick-fil-A to all on-duty crews and those on the fire line helping to keep our community safe from this large wildland fire. We also had a luncheon with tacos for crews on Thursday.
Over in Menifee, they fired up the 250-lb smoker to treat crews to tri-tip, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, & cole slaw. Kind of thinking this needs to become a monthly thing!
EMS Week or not, we appreciate our EMS crews each and every day. And we are grateful for the collaborative relationships we have throughout the county in our first responder network.
