Even 100 mg a day significantly increased diabetes risk.

Th study looked at total carrageenans, carrageenan gums, guar gum, xantham gum and others by analyzing over 100,000 individuals in a French Cohort Study.

This is so interesting. A 2005 paper in Virology, stating that pretreatment of cells with hydroquinone reduced infection by the SARS virus. Here is a picture of the results.
