Muun chi

It’s a great day when the baskets are full at closing. Our wonderful customers are so conscientious about returning their used containers when they visit the store.

We only package in returnable, reusable glass bottles and jars in order to keep packaging out of the municipal waste stream. Also, we really, really, REALLY don’t like plastic.

Our goal for the year is 10,000 returns. The first quarter pace encourages us to believe that we will sail easily by that milestone.

Big thanks to the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce for helping us organize a fun ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate completion of muun chi’s first store location. We had a nice group of regular customers plus representatives of other businesses that are members of the Chamber.

muun chi is an enthusiastic member of the Redondo Beach business community. When we signed the lease in April 2022, we didn’t know how lucky we would be to locate in the rapidly developing Artesia Corridor part of northern Redondo Beach.

Fresh, organic, real food for gut health

So grateful to everyone who joined us for the Grand Opening celebration. We had over 100 people move through the store during the afternoon.

Thatcher’s music was beautiful. The speakers were engaging and provided many helpful practical suggestions. And the food was – well, we’re biased – delicious! We are especially grateful for the warm reception we received for the several new products we introduced. You will be seeing the pesto, hummus, flatbread, and cacao treats again!

Now that our home is finished, we look forward to entertaining more frequently.
