🐶 Interesting Fact: One Hundred One Dalmatians (1961) — This iconic scene, where Pongo orchestrates the romantic “meet-cute” between his owner Roger and Anita, was one of the first times Disney used dogs as the primary matchmakers, essentially giving the animals more agency and planning ability than the human protagonists. More importantly, this film was groundbreaking because it was the first Disney feature film to utilize the Xerography process (a form of photocopying) for animation. This technique was necessary to draw over 6 million spots required for the 101 puppies but resulted in the stylized, sketchier lines that the video title references, giving the film its distinct mid-century modern aesthetic. 12/20/2025
