This is one of the moments that racing is about and what makes racing a family. Maddex was a mentor and spotter to this youngster all season and we couldn’t be more proud. These two developed such a great bond over the season as spotter and driver. For the first time a few races ago I got to listen to Maddex on the other end of things giving instruction and guidance to this young driver and I was very surprised at how calm and collected he was for his driver. We love seeing these younger kids look up to the older kids and watching them all grow through the years. Though, Maddex left the bandolero program as a driver we were still very much a big part of the class. We love the class and the kiddos. It’s so rewarding to watch them grow and be so excited about their achievements.
