It’s not often that we ask someone to speak for a second time, however Omer's story is one that continues to leave us in awe. Omer is a staple in the Raleigh running community, and we love it when he runs with us (or ahead of us).

Omer’s story involves running over 713 miles to escape civil war in Sudan and eventually coming to the United States, where he gained Citizenship in 2019 (but we won’t give all the good stuff away).

Come join us tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM on Zoom (Meeting ID: 974 1733 7975). Omar will share his story, and we will follow with a virtual run/walk from 8-9, followed by fellowship from 9-9:30. Hope to see you there!

Yoga on Zoom tonight at 6 PM EST! This is free and you do not have to be in recovery to attend! Meeting ID 974 1733 7975 Kristin Richmond will be leading us- “E-RYT - Since 2011, she’s been on a path of discovery and hopes to never stop learning. Yoga has seen her through many joys, losses, and all kinds of “life showing up”. Somewhere inside all the healing and peeling back layers of her own truth, she found her purpose of helping others do the same. Her devotion to growth is reflected in her heartfelt class offerings, which are a playful experience of strength and surrender. Often inspired by the seasons, she weaves in different techniques of pranayama, meditation, and other rituals of spirit and service that have guided her journey.” @ Healing Transitions
