Last night at was such a dream 💕💕🙌🏽 So many amazing artists showed up and showed out!!! It felt great to be in such an amazing creative energy! What an inspiration boost!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I’ve been a photographer for 18+ years and this is my first art show! 🥰🥰 I’m so at a loss for words!
But I have to say- all of my initial inspiration came from !! 💕💕 While I was finding subjects to shoot for the show, I realized everything I was drawn to was something tying to him in one way or another. My exhibit at this show was a love letter to the person who keeps me going and inspires me everyday. ❤️❤️I wanted to share the different sides of him while also showing the duality of soft and hard objects/things/people. I don’t think men of color have the opportunity to be portrayed as gentle and kind and nurturing; and I wanted to show how I see JJ when people aren’t around. 💕💕
