Today I present you a not-so-sweet by Cip.... savory raised pie! I know this isn’t my typical post, but I just had to share!
Ever since Paul and I became obsessed with , he’s become obsessed with the idea of savory pie... “Jen, it’s like a pie, with MEAT in it!!”
After literally months of him asking for one at least once a week, I finally caved and we made it our Saturday night project... and it WAS a project (2+ hours of prep, almost 2 hours of baking, and a 9:30 pm dinner 😂)! BUT we can’t believe how delicious it was and are pretty dang proud of our first attempt at this! Huge shoutout to one of our British Baking favs, for his Nan’s Sunday Dinner pie recipe! 🥧
Paul, I’m sorry I doubted your savory pie dreams for so long. You were right, and I was wrong. Don’t get used to it though... I’m still the authority on all things SWEET! 😘

Well, I’m only a month behind in posting this graduation cake... 🤦🏼♀️ but better late than never, right?! Cascading rosettes are quickly becoming one of my favorite designs (thanks !), and I’m loving them even more in this this Auburn-inspired color combo! 🐅
