Great opportunity for Entrepreneurs. See below for details for the Google Exchange Founders. The people that put this on, do a great job, and I know a couple of founders that went through this last year, and they received access to CEO's, potential customers, ..., that they wouldn't have otherwise. The Google for Entrepreneurs Black Founders Exchange program is back in its second year in Durham--and we’re now accepting applications (www.blackfounders.co/) ! The GFE Exchange is a one week program, led by American Underground, that helps Black founders prepare for and successfully raise seed capital for their business (less than $750k). Last year’s program supported 50 percent of participants in raising seed rounds of capital and every participant recommended the program upon completion (full recap here). We hope to make the program even more successful this year.

If you or your co-founder are a Black founder building a scalable, high growth startup, we encourage you to apply. The program will connect you with a national network of mentors, experts and investors, and pair you with a Thurgood Marshall College Fund intern for the week to support implementation of the knowledge you will gain during the program. The week culminates with Durham’s annual celebration of Black Wall Street Homecoming which welcomes venture capitalists, investors and others to Durham.
-
Applications close August 11 and selected teams will be notified September 1. The program runs from Sunday, October 8 through Friday, October 13 in Durham, NC. We want to especially thank our partners, Google for Entrepreneurs, Lincoln Financial Group, and Thurgood Marshall College Fund for their generous support of this program.
