We teach sewing & embroidery classes for adult & children, as well as offer mobile Sewing Machine Services, Repairs & Restorations.
OK, THIS is my last post for the day (and probably the week, because that's just how being an owner of a new shop has time for keeping up LOL)
I turned the big 5-0 on the 4th of July...Had I realized how many followers I had PRIOR to July, I would've started a fun "challenge" to make a birthday goal of 500 FOLLOWERS BY THE END OF JULY.
So since I am just NOW realizing it...we're gonna have to act FAST to make this goal!
Here's an incentive for YOU to reach my birthday month goal of 500 FOLLOWERS by the end of July. The person who has THE MOST REFERRALS will WIN A FREE SEWING CLASS (no machine or experience needed!)!
Tag your family, friends, etc. in the comments and ask them to follow as my b-day gift. THEN, have them comment once they do saying:
"Thank you for inviting me to the sewing fun!"
I will tally up the votes on 8/3/26 and announce the winner. The only rule is, you both HAVE to be following me, and have been tagged in the comments, of course.

HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES!
I've had a BUNCH of requests to do something for homeschoolers, especially once school gets back in session and my summer camps are done I'm meeting with a couple of parents this week to find out how I can better support you and your children.
I've had some tell me it's just for socialization, and I've had some tell me it's for electives or other course work. Obviously I can't fit everyone into my schedule for these meetings, but if you are a homeschool family, please leave me some feedback in the comments (or PM me if you don't want info public) letting me know what YOUR needs are.
My goal is to coordinate with local homeschooling groups since I've had so many requests. If you know someone who would find value in this post, please tag them in the comments. The more replies I get, the better I can help serve our community.

Things have been super busy around here, so forgive it not being a "pretty flyer", but here is a list of the July events at the shop. I will be making special posts with flyers for the Teen Sewing Camp (STARTING TUESDAY) this week, as well as our new Bobbin Buddies Teen Sewing Group (OUR FIRST MEETING IS TOMORROW!)

7/8/26 - 7/9/26 - (PRE/TEEN 11-18) 4-H SUMMER CAMP, “Sewing with Cristy” from 10am - 2pm (Ages 10+) $40 All supplies and materials included, plus snacks and drinks.
MUST book through the Co-Op Ext. office at: 645 E Palmer, Raeford 28376 910-675-3461. Please bring a bagged lunch and if bringing drinks, please have a lid/top to them.
** The last 4-H Summer Camp: “Advanced Sewing” is 8/11/26 - 8/12/26, from 10am - 2pm
7/13/26 - (PRE/TEEN 11-18) Bobbin Buddies Teen Sewing Club - from 11am - 3pm; $40 for 1-Month membership. Drinks & snacks included. We’re currently meeting on Monday’s. Starting 8/29/26, when school starts, we will change to Saturdays. (Hours TBD)

Day 1 of 4-H Camp via Hoke County 4-H & Hoke County Cooperative Extension was yesterday. I was so busy having fun working with the kids, I forgot to take pictures!
They were all snapping their own pics - if they had a phone, but I forgot. I’ll try to at least get a few today!
Thanks to Ms. Gina for being such a big help yesterday! I couldn’t have gotten as much done without her help & support!
I will post the upcoming classes and camps for July later today, but Y’all, if you’re wanting your child to attend, or they’re begging to come/come back, PLEASE book their spots early! Camps usually have 6 openings, but the word is getting out how much fun the kids are having, and yesterday we had 8 kids…every seat in my classroom…but, if we know the desire is there we can probably schedule more than what’s on the calendar and squeeze more camps/classes in!
Accepting kids last minute is always a pleasure, but it also means we’re prepping those extra seats and materials and sometimes it means there’s not enough supplies to share some of the goodies planned. If I can’t give ALL of the kids something, I take it out of the goodie bags because I don’t want anyone feeling left out.
If that means you’re calling me to “hold a spot” because you don’t get paid til “xyz”, then please do that. I am very accommodating 😊

Unfortunately, my back decided to go out this weekend and I’m still heavily relying on meds to keep it from being locked up, so I’ve decided to give my body a little longer of a vacation than originally planned and will be closed from today through 7/7 (2 days earlier).

I will be finalizing my 3rd quarter of 2026 classes and schedule and posting it ASAP, but next on the Agenda (aside from the machines I have in house already) in July are:
4-H Summer Camp 7/8 - 7/9, from 10-2 (Ages 10+) $40 - must book through the Co-Op Ext. office
Teen Sewing Summer Camp July 14 - July 17, from 12:45 - 4:15 (Ages 12-17) $150 booked ONLY through me & my square link in flyer.
