Unlike many others in my position, I’m fortunate to continue serving the public — tomorrow, I put my uniform back on and return to the firehouse. My commitment to integrity, hard work, and this community remains as strong as ever.
Thank you to all the supporters, volunteers, and mentors who helped build this incredible movement. Together, we accomplished more than anyone thought possible.

🚨 The developers behind 217-14 24th Ave think their eight-story upzoning project will move forward — despite unanimous community opposition. 🚨
In recent weeks, even my opponent has publicly reversed her stance, now claiming to oppose the project. But campaign finance records show the developers behind BMBT LLC have donated to her campaign and even hosted fundraisers in her honor.
I’m running because our community deserves a City Council member who puts safety before special deals and neighbors before big donors.
You can trust that I am 100% against this development. From increased flooding risks to the loss of a vital neighborhood space, this project is a bad idea. I’ll do everything I can to preserve it and ensure it serves the community — not developers’ bottom lines.
This campaign has always been about protecting what matters most. By setting up our campaign headquarters at the pool club, we’re standing with the residents fighting to save it.
