First workshop in the books! 📗✨

This summer I teamed up with to lead a 5 part workshop on Producing Documentaries. Over two weekends, I worked with a group of emerging filmmakers on the business behind making films - pitch decks, budgets, schedules, rights clearance - all the things that often feel overwhelming when you’re starting out.

As someone who had to learn producing through experience, it’s always been a dream of mine to create educational spaces like this and provide access for those just beginning their journey.

One of my favorite moments was bringing in filmmaker and former HBO exec .hoffman.1656 who I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with on projects including the Oscar-nominated The Barber of Little Rock. He shared his journey and joined me in a live pitch session - offering the group the rare chance to test their ideas and get honest, real-time notes.

Bono: Stories of Surrender is having its world premiere as a Special Screening at the Cannes Film Festival - and it’s a film I'll never forget.

This one was extra special. A rare kind of project that brought together live performance, immersive storytelling, and a team of some of the sharpest, kindest, and most talented people I’ve had the chance to work with. I’m proud of what we made - and grateful to now call many of them friends.

Can’t wait for the world to experience it on the (immersive) screen!
