By incorporating traditional methods such as using natural dyes and Japanese indigo dye methods, we are able to produce solids and patterned textiles with contemporary edge. Xsilk studio also offers one-on-one instructional workshops for those who wants to learn about natural dyeing. It is a place where works are made, products are born and a place for experimentations and brainstormings. Our studio is also a place for collaborative projects between artisans, designers and artists. We are always to in lookout for possibility of brilliant ideas and honed skills to come together to make something beautiful and useful. All of our dyeing, designing and tailoring are done locally, here in Brooklyn, NY. Xsilk workshop is located in Brooklyn, NY. It was founded by Dani Song-Kishino in 2011.
