ICYMI: PSD is committed to keeping schools safe, functional, and open for students and staff. While recent bond measures didn’t meet the required voter validation threshold, the 2024 Capital Levy continues to provide funding for critical repairs and maintenance, including HVAC, roofs, plumbing, electrical systems, and playground safety improvements.
Major projects like replacing aging schools, addressing overcrowding, and modernizing classrooms still rely on bond funding, so the district carefully prioritizes repairs and safety upgrades to extend the life of existing buildings.
Through our Asset Preservation Program and building condition assessments, PSD monitors facilities to prevent serious issues and make data-driven decisions.
