The Lwa/ Misterios want people to know they see us. They see everything we do, say, offer. They see our hearts. This practice is secret for a reason; because it is sacred. I think social media has made people forget what is appropriate to post and what isn’t. Sacred rituals and rites, that are only suppose to be for the house, are not appropriate to post social media. It’s obvious that many people posting these sacred rituals and gatherings on social media were not taught by a proper elder. Are we practicing for likes or for elevation of our spirits? That might be something to consider.
