Anchor Village

God placed a dream on our hearts—to build a tiny home village in Pottsboro that provides a safe place for single mothers and their children to land after navigating difficult circumstances.

How do we know this dream came from Him? Because He continues to provide confirmation, open doors that only He can open, and send helpers along the way. Wonderful individuals continue to step forward to offer their expertise, encouragement, resources, and support.

While we do not have land for Anchor Village just yet, God has provided a very promising opportunity! A potential property is being surveyed and appraised over the next month so the landowner can better understand its value and determine what they may feel led to contribute to the ministry. The surveyor and the appraiser both offered to help with this free of charge, because they too feel led to be part of this God ordained mission!🙌🏼

Through every conversation, every partnership, and every unexpected provision, we are reminded that God is writing this story. Every detail points back to Him, and He alone deserves the glory!

We are incredibly grateful for this faith building journey and look forward to watching Him continue to unfold this miracle in His perfect timing!🤍⚓️

One of the most unexpected and meaningful parts of starting Anchor Village has been hearing people share how a support system like this could have changed the trajectory of their lives. Whether for themselves, their mother, or someone they love, so many people have a personal connection to the kind of support and stability Anchor Village hopes to provide.

There is something powerful about vulnerability. When we share the difficult parts of our stories, it gives others permission to do the same and reminds us all of how much the Lord has carried us through.

Time and time again, we are reminded that God truly is in the redemption business!🤍⚓️

One week ago, we gathered to share how the Lord placed a calling on our hearts to create a place of refuge for single mothers and their children.

The outpouring of love from our community has been incredibly humbling!

Since then, we’ve received calls from a home builder wanting to help, messages from people eager to volunteer, and offers of support ranging from medical care and legal services to security wiring, counseling, design, and gardening.

This journey is opening our eyes to the beauty of what it looks like when the body of Christ comes together to meet a need.🙌🏼

We are honored, deeply grateful, and expectant that the Lord will continue to send the right people to help bring Anchor Village to life!

We may not have the land yet, but the village is already forming! A community is rising up, offering their time, talents, and resources to serve others! Glory to God!! 🤍⚓️
