🐾 Meet Abby – Looking for Her Perfect Forever Home 🐾
After spending the last few weeks fostering and maintaining Abby, we're excited to begin the search for the right family for this incredible girl.

Abby came to us from an elderly owner who loved her dearly but could no longer keep up with her energy level. Wanting to give Abby the best possible chance at a successful future, her owner enrolled her in our professional training program before making the difficult decision to surrender her to us to find her a new home.
Abby is a 3-year-old purebred, papered Labrador Retriever with champion hunting bloodlines from both parents. She is in excellent health, has a wonderful temperament, and absolutely loves her people. She has a sweet, affectionate personality and is happiest when she has a job to do or someone to adventure with. She is great with children!

She is a high-energy working Labrador, so her ideal home would be with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle—morning runs, hiking, outdoor adventures, hunting, or other activities that allow her to use both her mind and body.

Abby also came to us for rehabilitation with some dog reactivity. She has made tremendous progress and has been maintaining her obedience beautifully while in our foster program. With continued structure and routine, we expect her to continue being an amazing companion.

🏡 Abby's ideal home:
• Active individual or family
• Large securely fenced yard is a bonus
• Someone committed to continuing her training
• Preferably a home with another stable large-breed dog or as the only pet
(she has been practicing neutrality with my small breed and cat but ideally her energy would be suitable as a single pet home)
To help ensure Abby's long-term success, ARK K9 Inc. will sponsor her Handler Transfer sessions with her adopter. Once those sessions are successfully completed, the adoption will be finalized.

As part of Abby's adoption package, her new family will also receive:
