We would like to introduce a familiar face Cat Watjen Harner who is running another 70.3 IRONMAN as a Racing for Anna athlete to support The Anna Schindler Foundation. For Cat it hits closer to home, she’s running in memory of her own sweet angel warrior Tommy, forever (2) who battled leukemia.
Cat says “Every inch of the 1.2 miles swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run that I do summer of 2024 in Coeur D’Alene will be done in honor of him and how strong he was.”

This is what its all about. This is why our athletes do what they do. 9 years ago Tom De Tar ran and finished the full IRONMAN wearing hospital bands of kids on the oncology floor. He made it across that finish line thanks to hard work, inspiration and determination! If you're looking for motivation for your race here it is!
