Well… didn’t go exactly how I thought it would, but I really appreciate the support you have given me through this process. I thought if people in our little slice of the woods had an option for a representative instead of a trustee, they would take it. Many conversations were had about “RINO’s” and what it meant to be a precinct committeeman. I learned a lot about our neighborhood, and I promise to stay aware about what Ms. Storm does on the Central Committee over the next couple of years. If it keeps going the way it has over the last 4 or 5 years, I promise to do my best to fix it. Thank you again for believing in me and doing your best to get the word out. I’m sorry it didn’t work out how I hoped. I’ve decided to keep my Facebook and email going, so please do not hesitate to reach out and keep the conversation going, and please keep the word going!

Precinct committee races could reshape Kootenai County politics 05/14/2026

There’s a problem when the party that promotes transparency doesn’t want you to know who is running their PAC. “I would prefer not to say that, because I don’t really know the ramifications of disclosing that.” Who’s running your party? Are they for you?
I am for you. I’d represent you. You would run the party.
Vote on May 19 for your precinct committeeman positions!

Precinct committee races could reshape Kootenai County politics When Lisa Whitehead was appointed to an open seat on the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee about six years ago, she didn’t know much about the role of a precinct committeeman. But as a staunch conservative, she believed she could help the local arm of the GOP.

Get out and vote! Do your research! Ask who your candidate is representing. Are they just falling in line with how party leaders want them to? Or are they representing your voice? My name’s Garrett and I look forward to representing your voice in the KCRCC.
