Unapologetically Disabled.
When I was learning to drive, one of my university teachers told my peers no one should never let me drive because I was putting myself and everyone else in danger.
Imagine if I had believed that!
One person’s inability to see past my disability could have completely changed the course of my life.

Instead, I learned. I adapted and I found my own way.
Today I drive thousands and thousands of miles every year. I’ve driven through countries, across states, and down roads that have led me to hundreds of families living with my disability, Arthrogryposis. Those miles have become friendships, hugs, conversations, hope, and a movement that has changed my life just as much as I hope it has changed others.

The funny thing is… my disability was never the thing stopping me.
Sometimes the biggest barriers aren’t our bodies, they are the expectations other people…
Good thing I’ve always been a rebel. 😉💙
