Montavilla Jazz
06/26/2026
Here's a peek at just part of the team working hard to bring you the best Montavilla Jazz Festival yet.
Experimental, cross-genre, and internationally touring, experience the boundary-pushing sounds of W4RP Trio at Montavilla Jazz Festival 2026.
A reflection of the world around us, their original music moves fluidly between jazz, contemporary classical, hip-hop, and electronic influences. Comprised of pianist Mikael Darmanie, violinist/electric bassist Josh Henderson, cellist J.Y. Lee, and drummer Rick Martinez, their current program features material from Sermon of the MatriarK, a work inspired by Afro-diasporic folklore that merges rhythmic intensity, experimental textures, and compositional depth.
Grab festival passes to catch them live at the SoundsTruck NW Stage at Montavilla Plaza.
