By linking the Wakespeed WS500 to the Victron GX via CAN-bus, we’re able to feed the system real-time battery data for temperature-compensated charging. It’s a bit of a logic puzzle, but getting that alternator to talk to the BMS is what keeps these high-output systems healthy in the long run.
